How an engagement unfolds
Six steps, in order, with nothing hidden along the way. You can stop at any point, and you stay in control of the pace throughout.
A first conversation
We talk, in confidence, to understand what you want preserved and whether the practice is a fit. There is no obligation and no pressure, and nothing is recorded.
Setting the terms
Together we agree on the scope, the number of sessions, and a cadence that suits your life. The boundaries, including what is off the table, are settled before any work begins.
The conversations
Each session is a guided, unhurried interview. You receive a few gentle prompts beforehand, and on the day you set the pace and decide where we go.
Shaping the record
Your steward turns the conversations into clear, organized entries, named and cross-linked so they can be found later. The aim is fidelity to what you said, not interpretation of it.
Your review
You read the record and decide what stays. Anything can be redacted or revised, and nothing moves into custody without your final approval.
Stewardship begins
We document your access rules and custody begins. You can add to or amend the record later, under the conditions you have set.
Engagement scopes
Every engagement is sized to the person. Three scopes give a sense of the range; fees are established privately once we understand what you want to preserve.
Focused
A small number of sessions on a single chapter or decision. For a specific piece of context you want preserved well.
Full
The complete practice across six to twelve conversations, covering a life’s reasoning, relationships, and lessons in depth.
Estate
A full engagement coordinated with your attorney or family office, with recipient-specific access and long-term custody provisions.
